This was a complete remodel: some roof repair, bathroom addition, tile throughout the house, wiring repair/addition, kitchen cabinets and granite counters, some replacement window panes, new interior solid wood doors, front slab. Price was very competitive for this project. Work was done quickly. The foreman kind of dropped the ball at the very end of the project by not finishing a few items such as molding in bedroom, a subsequently requested electric outlet up on wall for microwave and a plumbing screw-up on the water softener caused by one sub-contractor that did shoddy work. However, I had these things completed myself and John Clemens reimbursed me the money to have the water softener replaced and correctly installed, which was very nice. This was my 19th foreclosure and after meeting with John and hearing his recommendations for making this into a cost effective rental, I decided to let them make virtually all the decisions within an overall budget. Usually I am very hands on, effectively the GC. Here I let them do their job and am happy with the result. No job is without some issues, esp. what the bid includes/doesn't include.
